The GB-Ware Software Firewall allows you to implement a firewall powered by GB-OS on hardware of your choice, including Virtual Machines. GB-Ware provides powerful, enterprise-level security with comprehensive features, including support for Mail Sentinel Anti-spam and Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus that are easy to implement and support in most corporate network environments. Available in unrestricted or 10-user versions, GB-Ware offers transparent NAT, stateful packet inspection, built-in IPSec VPN, DCHP server, secure remote management and content filtering. GB-Ware unrestricted version also includes unrestricted concurrent users, 128,000 concurrent connections and supports up to 20 interfaces when the multi-interface option is activated.

You'll experience the ease of use of GTA's proprietary secure operating system, whether you're implementing a basic perimeter security strategy or using even more advanced options like Gateway Failover and IP Aliasing.

With just an activation code and no additional hardware or software installation required, it's simple to add optional features such as additional mobile VPN clients, Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam subscriptions, Surf Sentinel content filtering or the Multi-Interface option.

Features

Simple Implementation for Even Complex Environments - The GB-Ware Firewall is powered by GB-OS 5.3.0. The clean, sleek presentation of information provides an intuitive basis for monitoring and configuring any GTA firewall. The multi-layered configuration screen easily toggles between basic and advanced configuration options, reducing the complexity of maintaining firewall security while continuing to provide a wide array of powerful, customizable configuration choices for more complex networks.

Support on Virtual Machines - GB-Ware Software Firewall UTM system installation is supported on Virtual Machines. Installation of GB-Ware Software Fierwall UTM system on a Virtual Machine host is included in GB-OS 5.3.0. Support is offered for installing GB-Ware on a VMWare system or Citrix XenServer. ISPs and Managed Serivce providers will be able to run multiple copies of GB-Ware on the same hardware allowing customizable firewall protection for each customer's envronment.

Dynamic Gateway Architecture - GB-Ware Software Firewall UTM systems include GTA's unique Dynamic Gateway Architecture offering Multi-WAN failover, load sharing, policy based traffic management, and dynamic routing options. Routing capabilities include static routing along with routing based on policy, source, protocol or ports and more advanced options such as BGP and OSPF. Gateway failover includes support for six multiple Internet connections over multiple physical interfaces or virtual gateways over a single interface. Bandwidth management is provided by load balancing, assuring maximum efficiency of Internet service. Business continuity, assured by network up-time, are provided by these flexible gateway failover and routing features.

Unified Threat Management - Organizations are protected against unauthorized access by a robust intrusion prevention system that comes standard with GB-Ware. Attempts to penetrate the network perimeter's security through the firewall are logged and alarms are generated based on comprehensive rule sets established by the firewall administrator. GTA's Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus feature and commercial-grade Mail Sentinel Anti-Spam subscription option supplement the standard threat management features for an additional level of security to your perimeter's network defenses. GTA partners with best of breed market leaders to provide anti-virus and anti-spam filtering features.

Network Address Translation - Stateful packet inspection and application firewall techniques combine with a powerful address translation mechanism to provide complete transparent network access to external and DMZ networks for IP-based applications.

Mail Sentinel Anti-Spam - Mail Sentinel Anti-Spam allows organizations to add spam control to their email proxy running on a GB-Ware. Subscription based option.

Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus - Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus allows organizations to add SMTP based virus control to their email proxy running on a GB-Ware. An included feature with a valid GTA support contract.

Surf Sentinel Content Filtering - Surf Sentinel allows organizations to increase productivity while reducing liability of access to unproductive or inappropriate web sites. Subscription based option.

Multi-interface Option - The Multi-interface option provides support for up to 20 interfaces including gigabit Ethernet.

GTA VPN Acceleration Option - Organizations with a large number of VPN connections may benefit from increased performance by off-loading VPN processing to the GTA VPN Acceleration card (VPN option and GTA VPN Acceleration card sold separately).

GTA Mobile VPN Client - Add additional GTA Box Mobile VPN Clients. Available in single client or multi-user packs.

GB Commander 2.0 - GB Commander 2.0 offers centralized management of GTA firewalls via one point access for all GTA firewalls on your distributed network.

GTA Reporting Suite 2.0 - Easy-to-use Windows-based tool generates on-demand, top-level summary reports and charts of information contained in GTA Firewall logs.

Your purchase of a GTA Firewall includes 60 days of software updates and 30 days of up-and-running support available through GTA's technical support staff in North America, and internationally through an authorized GTA channel partner.
